Beneath the Floorboards is an exhibition telling the stories of the enslaved African Americans who once resided at Marlpit Hall. This event will expand upon the exhibition’s narrative to explore the lives and experiences of enslaved people in Monmouth County and New Jersey at large, with curator-led tours of the exhibit, a panel of speakers, and cultural programming. Light refreshments will be provided.
