Love your Country but Hate your Government? Where are we as a country and are we growing more extremist mirroring the attitudes of the perpetrators of the OKC Bombing?

Have our founding fathers been misinterpreted? How would they view their legacy now?

Join us for lunchtime Better Conversations at the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum! The week of July 4th, we look back at how a soldier who defended his country could kill 168 people in an effort to try to overthrow his government. Are we so polarized today that we think this extremism is a new normal? Hosts Mike Turpen and Burns Hargis will be joined by Justice Taylor, presiding judge in the state trial of Terry Nichols, to discuss what patriotism means today.

Civic Season is a new summer tradition taking place across the nation from Juneteenth to July 4th for individuals of all generations to explore what you stand for, connect with others and shape the future of our country. The Memorial and Museum created three weeks of mission-focused Better Conversations looking at issues facing our country and what we can do about it! It causes us all to look at our own responsibility this Civic Season.

This is the third of a three-part Better Conversations series for #CivicSeason.

Participation is Free. Lunch is on us. Pre-register to guarantee a spot!
