The National Veterans Memorial and Museum (NVMM) invites you to honor the service and sacrifice of U.S. Veterans by sharing their stories. By engaging in a conversation and submitting it to our community page (NVMM Conversations) on the StoryCorps Archive, you will help educate our nation about the experience and contributions of U.S. Veterans. Your conversation will be added to the StoryCorps Online Archive and preserved at the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress in Washington, DC.

Through the NVMM Conversations program, we encourage open dialogue between civilians and Veterans that develop empathy for other people’s experiences, support active listening skills, and enhance verbal and non-verbal communication and social skills. This supports our mission to share the unique stories and perspectives of all who served in our nation’s military.
