The art of protest. The Carpenters’ Company and CraftNOW Philadelphia will host a Saturday morning event at Old City Phialdelphia’s Art in the Age. We will briefly discuss the history and importance of craft to American protest and resistance movements. Following an interactive discussion, participants will be instructed on how to make their own protest patches. This activity will be suitable for all ages and crafting skill levels, and will allow participants to choose to create a patch for a cause of their choice. This event will provide light refreshments.
