The Wisconsin Historical Society and the Kenosha History Center have partnered up for the 2nd Annual Kenosha Taco Fest on Friday, June 28, with FREE admission to the event starting at 3 p.m. Featuring a lineup of the area’s favorite food trucks competing for votes to be named Taco Fest Champion, live entertainment, opportunities to engage with Wisconsin history and much more, this summertime favorite is back for another year of fun for all ages and the tastiest tacos in town!
In a new location at Kennedy Park this year, the Kenosha Taco Fest will take place along the breezy shoreline of Lake Michigan with access to the sandy beach and plenty of greenspace for enjoying sunshine and warm weather.
At 5 p.m., Sujhey Beisser with Five Senses Palate will speak about the evolution of Latin food offering insights into its integration into Wisconsin’s culinary landscape.
Kenosha Taco Fest will coincide with the Kenosha History Center’s popular Friday Night Classic Car Cruise-in on June 28. All classic cars and spectators are welcome at this event. There will be a special area for classic cars.
This event is part of the Wisconsin History Makers Tour, where the Wisconsin Historical Society is bringing history directly to local communities in every region of the state. The History Makers Tour is presented by Culver’s and is made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services, Grant Number: MA-253159-OMS-23.
