Saturday, June 21st from 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.

Join the American Philosophical Society on Saturday, June 21st in celebrating Civic Season with our program, “Slice of History: Philadelphia, The Revolutionary City Quizzo”!

Are you the type of museum-goer who has a competitive spirit?

If so, join the APS Museum for “Slice of History: Philadelphia, The Revolutionary City Quizzo”! Hang out on our second floor of Philosophical Hall with a night of trivia, snacks, and drinks. Trivia questions will be centered around our exhibition, Philadelphia, The Revolutionary City. Don’t know much about the exhibition? Don’t worry! All attendees will spend the first hour in the exhibition and the second part of the program will be trivia categories based on information found in the exhibition.

Ever read an 18th century love letter? How about have you ever seen an 18th century wallet? You might have heard about a grandfather clock, but have you ever heard of a grandmother clock? You’ve heard of John Adams and Benjamin Franklin, but have you heard of John Francis, Elizabeth Drinker, or White Eyes? These are just the beginning of what you can discover as you explore the exhibition throughout the night.

We ask that attendees arrive on time at 5:30 p.m. If you register and wind up not being able to attend please email MuseumEducation@AmPhilSoc.org with your cancellation.

We hope you can join us on June 21st for some after hours pizza, snacks, and of course, trivia!
