Eisenhower Birthplace is excited to host A Slice of History: Women Like Ike. Throw it back to a 2000s style pizza party while exploring why so many women voted for Ike. Come make “campaign” pins inspired by Ike or featuring something you stand for, take part in throw-back crafts and games, complete trivia sheets to win prizes, meet other members of the Denison community, and have some snacks (pizza provided by The Railyard and available while supplies last)! The schedule for the event is listed below. All activities suitable for ages 16+. For more information, please call 903-465-8908 or email Amanda.Lanum@thc.texas.gov.

Join us June 17th from 4pm-7pm.
4:00—5:00pm: Guided tours of the Birthplace focusing on Ike’s visits to Denison. *Space is limited. Regular admission fees apply*
5:00—7:00pm: Pizza Party! Enjoy some pizza provided by The Railyard, explore voting history, and take part in retro-crafts.
