In honor of Native American Heritage Month, the executive director of the Foundation, Patrick Madden and Dr. Anna Naruta-Moya, project director of the Indigenous Digital Archive, discussed a terrific new online resource, DigiTreates. This project—a collaboration between the National Archives, National Archives Foundation and the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture (MIAC)—has made 374 Native American Treaties from the National Archives as well as related Native American records accessible and searchable online for the first time ever.
